One of the simplest elevator limitation system is based on RFID with one out put that it has one active output with GND which can be used in two following ways:

  1.  Replacing with push buttons on LOP and COP

  2. With one or group elevator push buttons on LOP or COP can be covered

Disabled/ Platform Lift

Disabled lifts are designed for the people who are sick as much as being not able to ascend a stair or step up on any elevation and to make these persons pass over these obstructions easily.

Disabled lifts provides this comfort by its platform or one mechanism attached to the corner of the stairs when disabled persons go up or down. This elevator model, being known as disabled lift or stair lift, is commonly used in villas, houses and work places.

Disabled lift may be produced in sizes of requested dimensions and color in accordance with the posture of construction. The distinguishing features of disabled elevators are such as their having wider entrance, standard automatic doors, cabin and landing buttons which are at lower and horizontal position and embossed buttons etc.

There are two main types of elevator systems: traction and hydraulic.

Traction elevators utilize steel ropes or belts on a pulley system. Hydraulic elevators are powered by hydraulic jack, which are fluid-driven pistons that travel inside of a cylinder.


Unlike traction elevators, hydraulic systems don’t use overhead hoisting machinery. Instead, these elevators use the compression of fluids to generate movement.

The elevator cab is lifted by an electric motor that pumps oil into the cylinder to move the piston. Hydraulic elevators also incorporate electrical valves to control the release of oil for a gentle ride.

The fluid needed to power a hydraulic elevator must be oil-based. Vegetable oil or biodegradable oil can be used as environmentally friendly options.


You can find a hydraulic elevator in almost any type of building. However, there are two factors that limit the heights they can travel.

Hydraulic elevators require a substantial amount of energy to raise the cab, which is why they’re not usually found in high-rise buildings. These systems also operate at speeds of 150 ft./min. or less, making them slower than other types of elevators.

Because of these factors, hydraulic elevators are only intended for buildings that are up to seven stories.


Not all hydraulic elevators are created equal! There are several variations that can make each system unique.

Holed Hydraulic

With this type of elevator, hydraulic cylinders extend into the ground and are placed inside of a drilled hole. The car of the elevator is mounted on a piston that travels inside of the cylinder, allowing up to 60’ of travel.

Holeless Hydraulic

Since a drilled hole isn’t necessary, existing buildings or areas where drilling isn’t an option can benefit from a holeless hydraulic elevator. However, these models aren’t suited for more than 40’ of travel.

Roped Hydraulic

Roped hydraulic elevators use cables and a piston attached to a sheave to extend the rise of a holeless hydraulic elevator. Since a rope is holding up the elevator cab, a governor is required. These models are intended for 60’ of travel.


Machine Room-Less (MRL) Hydraulic

In machine room-less elevators, the hydraulic lift mechanisms are located in the hoistway instead of a separate machine room. This maximizes the available space in a building.


For many types of buildings, hydraulic elevators offer the following advantages:

Quicker to install than other elevator types

Less expensive to install and maintenance for transporting heavy loads

Occupy less space in a building

Option to have machine room-less configuration


Even with the benefits, there are still a few factors that might not make hydraulic systems the right choice for certain applications:

Only intended for low and mid-rise buildings

Can only travel up to 150 ft./min.

More power requirements than traction elevators

May be a bit noisier than other systems


Freight elevators are mostly used in buildings with high load-bearing activities such as warehouses, shopping malls and factories. The most important feature of a freight elevator is the carrying capacity. The carrying capacity of these elevators can be up to 10,000 kg. It can be specially designed according to the environment where the elevator is located, weight and type of load to be carried.


Hospital Elevators

The hospital elevators must be of a standard to allow other passengers to travel comfortably with the stretcher. Stretcher lift cabins should comply with hygiene rules in terms of health, and anti-bacterial measures should be taken. Hospital elevators, also known as patient lifts, are designed with stainless steel interior decoration, and the light level should be unobtrusive. Hospital elevator cabin buttons are lower than other elevators and broader than other buttons. Necessary precautions should be taken against power outages. Their common use areas are the buildings such as hospitals, medical centers, community health care centers and nursing home.

Dimensions of hospital elevator should be in standards that at least one stretcher and one companion may go into. Hospital lift cabins should suit with hygienic rules in terms of health and precautions should be taken place toward antibacterial prevention. The interior decoration of hospital elevators, also known as patient elevators, is designed as stainless and the lighting is kept at level that does not disturb the patient. Hospital elevator cabin buttons are on the lower position than the other kinds of elevators and their doors are wider than the other kinds. Precautions for any situation of electricity cut should be taken. Hospital lifts may be preferred as semi-auto, full auto or hydraulic. Hospital elevators may be preferred as to their variable carrying capacities from 1600 kg to 2000 kg and their various speeds from 0,40 m/s up to 30m/s.
